By the end of this workshop, you will leave with at least two works of art to take home, including one piece fully framed and ready to hang on the wall!

embroidered felt ornament Workshop
Embroidered felt ornaments are beautiful, handcrafted decorations often made from soft felt (wool or blend) and embellished with detailed hand stitching. They make perfect additions to holiday trees, thoughtful gifts, or unique accents year-round. While they can take virtually any shape—from stars and snowflakes to animals and initials—most consist of two pieces of felt sewn together and lightly stuffed for a soft, dimensional effect.
Objectives:
By the end of this class, you will be able to:
• Master Core Stitches: Learn and successfully execute essential embroidery
techniques, including the running stitch, back stitch, and decorative blanket stitch used for edging.
• Construct a Finished Ornament: Cut, assemble, and cleanly finish a complete ornament, including proper techniques for stuffing and attaching a hanger.
• Create Custom Designs: Gain the technical knowledge and confidence to design and create your own ornaments of any shape or size, letting your imagination run wild!
You will leave with at least one fully finished ornament and another one to finish at home.

Coil BASKET Workshop
While often mistaken for weaving, coiling is a distinct basketry technique. Instead of interlacing two sets of materials, you’ll be wrapping one material around a core and then stitching it in place. We’ll provide you with cotton cording for your core and a variety of colorful yarns to wrap it with
Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have everything you need to create your own beautiful baskets. You will leave with a semi-finished small basket and the skills to complete it at home in just 1-2 hours. You’ll also gain the knowledge to make as many baskets as you like in the future!
You will receive all necessary materials to create a small (about 4”-5”) basket: coil filler, a variety of yarns and a yarn needle for “stitching” the basket.
